Due to the Covid scare, we had to make a lot of last-minute changes regarding the reunion. Branson was mostly shut down, and many states had restrictions that would have made it difficult to meet in person. We considered moving the reunion to August, but even that would have been difficult for members to come due to school and vacation schedules. So, we did the next best alternative. We met on Zoom for a virtual reunion. It was well received, and we had around 30 people who participated, including some new faces. Thank you everyone for your support and attendance!
We crammed a full weekend of activity into a 4-hour window, which included:
Greeting/get acquainted time
Historical Overview by Richard Soash, our Archivist
A devotional time led by Rev. Barbara Wright Jones
Memorials and Business Meeting led by our President, Marilyn Bolerjack Blackburn
We also included a short video about the history and making of Moravian cookies and shared some that had been sent to participants in advance!
